“Purple Sky”
The original painting is acrylic on 16x20 canvas. Sometimes I just like to “go with it”. Unlike most of my paintings that are inspired by photos I have taken, this one my brush just went where my mind took it. I think I took inspiration from visiting a Van Gogh exhibit around this time, and I plan on doing much more of this style of abstract painting in the future. It is very liberating.
